Easy to Spot, Simple to Park, Welcome to Our Door

We’re set back just enough from Eastlake Boulevard to give you peace and plenty of parking—right out front. You’ll still spot our blue building easily from the road! When you arrive, head toward the white lattice fence and green lawn. Our entrance is just to the left of the “Washoe Valley Veterinary Hospital” sign, tucked into the corner where the front and side sections of the building meet. (see the banner photo at the top of the page.) Look for the overhang and handrail—your pet’s care starts right there.

Finding Us Is Easier Than You Think

While we're proud to be part of Washoe City, about two-thirds of our patients come from beyond—from Sparks, Reno, Carson City, Virginia City, and even Tahoe. If you're traveling in, rest assured: when your map app says “New Washoe City,” you’re in the right place—that’s our Washoe City too. No need to bring a bloodhound to track us down!

Take I-580 N/US-395 N toward Reno. Just after climbing through the Duck Hill pass at the edge of town—watch carefully for Exit 10 to Eastlake Boulevard, as it comes up quickly. Take the exit and turn right onto Eastlake Boulevard. Continue for about 7 miles. Washoe Valley Veterinary Hospital will be on your left, just before the small local shopping center. It is a blue building set back from the road.

Take I-580 S/US-395 S and continue for about 7 miles. Use the right two lanes to take Exit 25B for Virginia Street South, then merge onto US-395 Alternate South. Follow that for approximately 6.8 miles. Turn left onto Eastlake Boulevard—look for the Dollar General on your right about 3 miles in. Washoe Valley Veterinary Hospital will be just ahead on your right the blue building set back off the road.
